Geldrop-Mierlo
Geldrop and, to a lesser extent, Mierlo, were known for their rich textile industry. We are proud of this. We bring this cultural heritage back in all kinds of places by means of the theme Weaves & Entertains.
Thanks to the support from the municipality, the Villagemarketing Geldrop-Mierlo Foundation can devote itself to further pick up and expand these qualities in the coming years. In short, Villagemarketing will be committed to strengthening the position of our municipality and establishing connections between all the initiatives that already exist. This Foundation includes representatives from the cultural, recreational, entrepreneurial and hospitality sector

Launch zorgvoorgeldropmierlo.nl
Together with brand agency Wakkr, Gewest13 and Sabine Te Braake, we launched www.zorgvoorgeldropmierlo.nl on April 2, 2019. The platform on which residents in Geldrop-Mierlo can donate money to support our healthcare workers in the municipality during the corona crisis.

75 years liberation
Geldrop-Mierlo werd in september 2019, 75 jaar geleden bevrijd. Een maand lang festiviteiten met muziek, exposities en sport in Geldrop-Mierlo. Kommus, Geldrop Anders, Libertyloop, Hofdael, de winkeliers, de horeca en vele anderen maakten er een onvergetelijk feest van.

Geldrop-Mierlo is een comfortabele gemeente, dat weten we, maar het mag weleens duidelijk gezegd worden. Daarom besloot de gemeenteraad om de komende vier jaar veel geld uit te trekken voor village-marketing. Geen halve maatregel, maar ‘garen op de klos’ om haar inwoners en de regio bewust te maken van de kracht van Geldrop-Mierlo.
