White Admiral Cycling Route
This 20-kilometer-long Bicycle Route Small Kingfisher Butterfly allows you to visit beautiful places where the Small Kingfisher Butterfly might also be spotted: if you do not cycle too fast. And we recommend that, because it is a wonderful route through a beautiful area with lots of water, beautiful banks, parks, meadows and village gardens.
You cycle a large part along the Eindhoven Canal where rowers regularly train for their competitions. The crystal clear water reflects the trees to the left and right of the canal. That gives a beautiful picture. A nice starting point for the cycle route is the place where the Kleine Dommel passes under the Eindhovens Kanaal. You can also start in Mierlo of course. For example at 't Sang Nature Reserve, where the Little Kingfisher Butterfly is regularly spotted.

Fortunately, the Small Common Kingfisher butterfly is increasing in number again, according to the Butterfly Foundation: in the Netherlands, it seemed to be threatened with extinction.
The cycle route passes the Weaving Museum and Horecaplein, where you can always stop for a pleasant break.
